Trucking & Delivery
Assign drivers to delivery orders, manage your fleet schedule, and track deliveries from pickup to drop-off.
What Shows Up Here
The Trucking section only shows orders that need a driver. Two rules determine what appears:
Only orders set to "Delivery" fulfillment type appear. Pickup orders do not.
Orders still in "Quote" status are hidden until confirmed.
The Three Views
Use the toggle in the top-right corner to switch between views:
Drag-and-drop board for assigning orders to drivers. This is the default view.
See assigned orders on a timeline. Switch between day, week, and month views.
Analytics per driver — total orders, completed, in transit, pending, and revenue.
Assigning Orders
The Orders view is a drag-and-drop board. It is laid out in columns:
Unassigned Orders
The leftmost column. All delivery orders without a driver land here. This is where you start.
Driver Columns
One column per driver on your team. Shows their currently assigned orders and a quick stat summary.
How to Assign
Drag an order card from the Unassigned column
Drop it onto a driver's column to assign them
The driver's assigned truck is automatically linked to the order
To unassign: Drag the order back to the Unassigned column.
To reassign: Drag the order from one driver's column to another.
Searching and Filtering
Within the Unassigned Column
The Unassigned column has its own search and quick filters:
You can also search by customer name, product, order ID, email, phone, or delivery address.
Board-Wide Filters
Use the filter bar above the board to narrow down all columns at once:
Date range options include Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Next 7 or 30 Days, This Month, This Year, and a custom range.
Conflict Detection
When you drop an order onto a driver, the system checks for scheduling conflicts before completing the assignment.
Time Overlap
If the new order's delivery time overlaps with an order already assigned to that driver, a conflict modal appears.
The modal shows which orders are in conflict and why
Choose Cancel Assignment to leave things as they are
Or choose Assign Anyway to override and complete the assignment
What Drivers See
Team members with the Trucking Driver role get their own dashboard with a simplified view of their assigned work.
Driver Dashboard
A highlighted card at the top showing the current order — status, customer, delivery date and time, and products. Tap to open it.
If multiple orders are assigned, drivers can tap "Change" to select which one is currently active.
Completing a Delivery
Once a driver opens their active order, the delivery follows these steps:
Start Route — Tap this to mark the order as "In Transit"
Complete Delivery — This button appears once the order is In Transit. Tapping it opens the delivery confirmation screen.
Confirm — Optionally add photos and notes, then submit. The order moves to "Delivered".
Delivery Confirmation Details
- - Take up to 3 photos using the camera or select from the gallery
- - Add optional delivery notes (up to 300 characters)
- - Photos and notes are saved to the order once submitted
Driver Order History
Drivers can view all orders ever assigned to them from the Order History screen. Filter by:
Each filter chip shows a count of matching orders so drivers can see at a glance how many are in each state.
Adding Drivers to Your Team
To make someone available for order assignments, add them to your team with the Trucking Driver role from Team & Permissions:
